How to tag your status in facebook

So you want to tag plum in order to be eligible to win the weekly spring contest. It does not work on mobile phones so you will have to do it from your computer.

What you have to do is just include the "@" symbol beforehand. As you type plum with the @ symbol, a drop-down menu will appear that allows you to choose from your list of friends and other connections, including groups, events, applications and Pages.

The "@" symbol will not be displayed in the published status update or post after you've added your tags. One other thing is you need to click the lock symbol and set it to everyone so it actually appears on the plum page.
